The deep-water ventilation system TIBEAN

Insertion of the deep-water ventilation system into the water • restoration of the deep-water lake

The deep-water ventilation system (TIBEAN) is the core of the pilot facility to restore lakes.
The system combines the deep-water ventilation with the addition of a flocking agent.
It consists of the deep-water ventilation aggregate, a control center, a transport pontoon and an ashore station. A storage silo for calcium hydroxide (slaked lime) and a mixing
bin for limewater (milk of lime) are counted to this Station.
The aluminate solution is delivered ready for use. Therefore, it is put directly into the transport pontoon.
The ventilation serves in the first place for an effective merging of the flocking agent
in the deep-water. In addition, it has a favorable aspect to the oxygen concentration
of the lake and leads to improved living conditions for fish and other animals.
